Breaking Bad

And that was the end of that. You can twist my arm but I won’t tell you how it finishes, Breaking Bad that is.

Let myself down at the run i Milan – overweight, overworked and over 60!  Promise myself never to do another run without being properly prepared.   But did have a good time with my girlies.

re publish 60 plus

Been 60 for 3 days now and it’s going good.  Had a lovely birthday with flowers from the employees, Silke, Matthew, David and Erling.  Lots of good pressies and a meal at Cecilies with a skype from Silke.

Been lucky in life really, I know I have been loved and am loved.  I hope all those close to me have the same

Last year

So I didn’t win the lottery, but I did go to Cuba with David, Ken and Pam.  Davids mum did die (at a ripe age) which was very sad, but David moved in.  We didn’t make any money at work, but we didn’t lose any.  I didn’t become a Dane but I did pass all the tests.  (Ok with flying colours)  A. Andersens Vej hasn’t been ‘sold’ but it’s not my responsibility any more.  I didn’t get pregnant but we’ll keep on trying.  We didn’t make any enemies but we (Davids quite good at it) make a couple of new friends – Johnny (and his wife) and Annette (and her husband).

A year, with at times some pretty scary, dark times, but I’ve got my David and Sai Baba and now I’ve got my cousin Lyn, shame she doesn’t live nearer.  But Silke, Cecilie, David and I had fun visiting her for her 70th.  And it was just crazy seeing all the cousins after all these years, and I did fall in love with the north again.

Paris

I wonder at what point a normal person turns into a monster.  Defies the laws of being a human being.  It’s beyond my comprehension that these people have had a normal upbringing, way of life.  Surely not.  Please let them have had badly damaged lives, otherwise there’s no hope for the rest of us.

Fell in the water

Went out in a canoe with Johnny, Lydia, their 8 year old twins, David and Bella.  So little Julie wants to come with us in our canoe.  The attraction not being Ann and David but of course the dog.  Sprightly little thing – the girl and the dog.   Anyway to cut a long story short, we end up in the brink and to my horror and shame I save the dog first.  In fact both of the sprightly little things swim as well as each other and we all have safety vests on.  Perhaps I should have been more worried about dolphin boy.
